2009 schedule released – two prime-time games included

Despite last season’s disappointment, the NFL still thought enough of the Cleveland Browns to give them on primetime games in 2009. Cleveland will host Baltimore for a Monday night contest on November 16 and host the Steelers in a Thursday night affair on December 10.

The season will open at home against Minnesota on September 13 and conclude at home against Jacksonville on January 3. In addition, a nice little scheduling quirk has the Browns playing 7 of the first 11 games of the season at home and ending the season with the final 4 of 5 at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

The Browns bye week will be at the halfway point – week 9 on November 8.For the complete schedule, check it out here.
